Cross country runners compete in Thomasville

Davey Reynolds led Bainbridge’s cross-country team with a time of 19 minutes, 53 seconds, to help the Bearcats to an eighth-place finish out of 15 teams at the annual Quail Train Run in Thomasville Saturday.
Tae Ross finished just behind his Bainbridge teammate, with a time of 19:55. The annual run at Thomasville’s Pebble Hill Plantation has a distance of 3.1 miles.
Coach Jennifer Oldaker’s Lady Cats finished fifth in a 15-team field. They were led by Paige Braswell, who finished in the top 10 with her time of 23:05.
The Bainbridge Middle School Bearcats were second and the Bainbridge Middle School Lady Cats were seventh in 10-team, two-mile-run fields.
