The memorial service for Stephen R. Pearson, 61, of Bainbridge, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Medley and the Rev. Rudy Breunig, S.T., officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Pearson was born April 6, 1950 in Bemidji, Minn. He passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Memorial Hospital.

He was a letterman in track and graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, Penn., Class of 1968. Mr. Pearson was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and received the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal. Steve and Carol operated Bram’s Restaurant in Bainbridge, for several years. Steve worked for the last 26 years with Elberta Crate’s Farm Division as the land and game manager. He loved the outdoors and made his everyday job an adventure.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dean Pearson.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Carol Bramblett Pearson of Bainbridge; his son, Joshua Stephen Pearson and his wife, Frances, of Albany, Ga.; his daughter Katharine Pearson Lindley and her husband, Zim, of Fairbanks, Alaska; his mother, Nora Pearson of Plymouth, Neb.; his brothers, John Pearson, Richard Pearson, James Pearson, and Frank Pearson; and his sisters, Mary Pearson and Lori Pearson Maples.

Ivey Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
