A 5K race and one-mile fun run will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, to benefit the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society.

The runs will be held on the nature trail in the Earle May Boat Basin. All ages and abilities are welcome. Awards will be given to race winners in various categories and additional prizes will also be given out.

Pre-registration for the event before Oct. 15 is $20 for adults or $12 for children under age 12. T-shirts will be guaranteed to those who pre-register by Oct. 15. Registration on the day of the event will be $25 or $15 for children under age 12.
