Funeral services for Crowell Nelson Hudgins, 92, of the Patmos community, were held Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Milford Baptist Church. Officiants were the Reverends Joel Hudgins, Preston Wilson, Jonathan Tipper and Asah Hudgins.
Interment was in Morgan Hudgins Family Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers were Lamar Hudgins, Hardy Hudgins, Marty Collins, Ralph Hudgins, Roger McFather, Derek DeLucca, Rev. Jimmy Cole and Phillip Jones. The men of Milford Baptist Church served as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Hudgins was born Dec. 1, 1918, in Baker County to the late Joel Olen and Corrie Rizer Hudgins. He died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at his residence. He was an Army veteran, a retired farmer, a master carpenter and member of Milford Baptist Church.
Mr. Hudgins was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Mae Lindsey Hudgins.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte DeLucca and husband Frank, and Janice Tipper and husband, Scotty; a son, Rev. Joel Hudgins and wife Ann, all of the Patmos community; a sister, Iva McFather of Milford; six grandchildren, Derek DeLucca, Drake DeLucca, Rev. Jonathan Tipper, Jennifer Tipper Cole, Rev. Asah Hudgins and Sara Hudgins Jones; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home, Inc., of Camilla was in charge of the arrangements.
