Services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Brown Chaney, 67, of Bainbridge, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andy Glover officiating. Interment will be in Oak City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Barbara Ann Brown was born in Adel, Ga., on July 13, 1944, to Clarence Odell and Julia Montgomery Brown. She died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at her home. She and her husband, Charles H. Chaney, have been married since 1973. Barbara was a waitress at the Gateway Restaurant in Donalsonville, Ga., for about 25 years.

Mrs. Chaney is survived by her husband, Charles H. Chaney; children, Marie Johnson Milligan and husband, Mark, Dana Chaney Roberts, all of Bainbridge, Crystal Godwin and husband, Robbie, of Donalsonville, and Christopher Robert Chaney of Bainbridge; brother, James (Frank) Brown of Bainbridge; sister, Myrtle Lee Hurst of Bainbridge; and eight grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
