Services for Margie Harris, 66, of Fowlstown, will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at Smith Grove M.B. Church of Amsterdam with Rev. Levi Kelly officiating.

Interment will follow in Conyers Cemetery in Climax with Oscar Harrell, Anthony Harrell, Willie Gus Harrell, Jeffrey Pollock, Bobby Harris Jr. and Perry Madge acting as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrington Williams, Antonio J. Riles Sr., Nathaniel Blocker, Antonio Riles Jr., Labarron Thomas and Paxton Amilea.

Ms. Harris was born Oct. 22, 1944 and died Sept. 1, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge. She was employed as a cook.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Earlene Dupont Harris.

Survivors include her father, Clarence Harris; a daughter Janet Williams of Attapulgus; sisters, Sarah Riles and Cathy Thomas of Attapulgus; brothers Bobby Harris and Robert Harris, both of Attapulgus.
