Services for Alfonzie Fedd, of Jakin, Ga., were held Sept. 4 at Newberry A.M.E. Church in Donalsonville, Ga., with Rev. Paul Fedd officiating. Interment was in Fedd Cemetery of Donalsonville with nephews, cousins and classmates acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Fedd was born Sept. 2, 1956 in Donalsonville and died Aug. 26, 2011 at his home. His passion was carpentry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Fedd.

Survivors include his mother, Hurly Fedd; sisters, Clemmie McClain of Albany, Ga., Patricia Green of Donalsonville and Anna Boston of Douglasville, Ga.; brothers Willie Fedd and Joe Fedd of Albany, Alvin Leonard, Alonza Fedd, Alfred Fedd and Frank Fedd, all of Donalsonville, Leroy Fedd of Buena Vista, Ga. and Robert Leonard of Covington, Ga.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
