The funeral service for Christine Holland White, 69, of  Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Dean officiating, and will conclude in the chapel. Interment will be held at Cool Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Ivey Funeral Home immediately following the service.

Born Aug. 29, 1942 in Sneads, Fla., Mrs. White died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 her residence.

Mrs. White was the daughter of Rogers Steadman Holland and Margaret Farrior Holland. She died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at her residence. She was a correctional officer and LPN for Florida Department of Corrections. She graduated from Sneads High School and received her associates degree from Chipola College. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her brother, William T. Holland.

Survivors include her husband, Buford C. White of Bainbridge; her son, B. Cranston White, Jr. and his wife, Danielle, of Sneads; her daughter, Jennifer W. Dean and her husband, Tim, of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, La Tausha M. White, Willow White and Madison E. Dean.
