Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) asphalt crews will be working on State Route 309 and State Route 311 in Decatur County, according to a DOT press release.

Work is scheduled daily between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., beginning Wednesday, Sept. 7, and continuing through Friday, Sept. 9, weather permitting.

Crews will be working at the following locations:

• S.R. 309 near Pointvent Rd.

• S.R. 311 near Thompson Rd.

A single lane closure will be in place on both S.R. 309 and S.R. 311 in Decatur County. Motorists should reduce their speed in these maintenance work zones.
