Class of 2011 Bainbridge High School graduates Tyrone Jacobs and Xavier Bell were each the recent recipients of a $1,000 scholarship from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Jacobs will be attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga., and is the son of Crycynthia Gardner and Tyrone Jacobs Sr. Bell will be attending Troy State University and is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Morrell Bell Sr. Shown, left to right, are BHS Principal Tommie Howell; Tyrone Jacobs; Dr. Linda B.
