Funeral services for Ms. Cindy Cannon Trawick, 45, of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held Tuesday, August 9, at 11 a.m. at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, with the Rev. Mylan Brookins officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at 10 a.m., at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville.

Active casketbeareres will be Greg Whittaker, Howard Whittaker, Dean Brookins, Brian Brookins, Scott Brookins, Brad Bonner, and Greg Davis.

Honorary casketbearers will be Employees of Three Notch Electric; Dave Whittaker and Bob Brookins.

Born December 27, 1965 in Pensacola, Fla., Ms. Trawick passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.

Ms. Trawick was the daughter of the late Helen Brookins Dick and James Robert Cannon Sr. She was a graduate of Seminole County High School, where she was a majorette in the Green Machine Marching Band. She had also been an active member of the school’s Alumni Band. She began working at Three Notch Electric in August of 1988 as a cashier before moving to the Billing Department as a billing clerk. Ms. Trawick later moved to the Engineering Department, working as a drafter assistant for the remainder of her 22 years as a Three Notch employee.

Survivors include a sister, Denise Bonner and her husband Monroe of Donalsonville; a brother, James R. Cannon Jr. and his wife Nyki of Brinson, Ga.; a special friend, Jason Todd Watson of Dothan, Ala.; two nephews, Brad Bonner and his wife April of Donalsonville and James Cannon III of Brinson; two great-nieces, Cadance and Gabby Bonner; her step-father, John Dick Sr. of Donalsonville; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her her mother, Helen Brookins Dick; her father, James Robert Cannon Sr.; and her daughter, Ansley Trawick.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Ansley Trawick Scholarship Fund c/o Seminole County Middle High School or Peoples South Bank.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
