Funeral services for Clem Wesley, 80, of Bainbridge, were held July 30, 2011, at Second St. James M.B. Church with the Rev. Eugene Roberts officiating. Interment was in Jonas Lobe Cemetery, with family and friends acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Wesley was born Aug. 16, 1947, and died July 20, 2011. At an early age he joined Second St. James M.B. Church in New Jersey and later joined the church in Bainbridge. He was a faithful and dedicated member who loved singing in the choir.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Daisy and Sarah Wesley.

Survivors include his wife, Virgree Wesley of Bainbridge; two daughters, Patricia Rambo of Bainbridge and Vera Clark of Bainbridge; one son, Clem Wesley Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
