Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is pleased to partner with the Salvation Army on a summer fund-raising campaign to assist with Storm Disaster Relief efforts throughout the United States.

Through Aug. 31, DDS’ customers and team members are able to contribute by signing a “We Care” card for one dollar. “We Care” cards will be displayed in DDS’ centers and administrative offices throughout the State.

DDS’ customer service center in Colquitt, Ga., 20 miles north of Bainbridge on U.S. 27, is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information on the center, drivers can call (229) 758-5837.

DDS has set a $50,000 goal, and team members are eager to meet this challenge. The Salvation Army has been providing meals and other services to survivors and first responders of the recent storms, floods and fires in the United States. Monetary donations are crucial to enable this work to continue. DDS is proud to be a part of this campaign.

All proceeds collected will benefit the Storm Disaster Relief of the Salvation Army. Please visit the DDS website at www.dds.ga.gov and on Facebook.
