Yent supporting school supply drive
Local residents and businesses may help by bringing in items to Emily Yent’s Edward Jones branch office at 102 E. Broughton Street during regular business hours from July 21st to August 12th. The office’s phone number is (229) 246-6400.
BHS to hold orientation meetings
Bainbridge High School will hold orientation for students in each grade next week.
Senior orientation will be Wednesday, July 27 at 10 a.m.; followed by junior orientation on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Sophomore orientation will be held Thursday, July 28 at 10 a.m.; followed by freshman orientation on Thursday at 2 p.m.
Title I parent involvement meeting
Decatur County Schools is reviewing and revising our Title I Parent Involvement Plan and our CLIP (Consolidated LEA Implementation Plan). A meeting will be held on July 26 at The Decatur County Student Support Center located at 507 Martin Street in West Bainbridge to allow time for parents and stakeholders to view these plans and offer feedback and suggestions.

Grace Christian to hold welcome-back picnic
Grace Christian Academy will hold its annual School-Wide Meet and Greet and Family Picnic on Thursday, Aug. 4. The event will begin with a prayer walk at 4:30 p.m. The meet and greet will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the family-style picnic beginning at 6 p.m.
