• Union Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located 703 Martin St. in West Bainbridge, will observe the annual mission march on Saturday, July 23, at 6 p.m. Speaker will be the Rev. John Gardner and musical guest will be Second Chance.
• Second Morning Star M.B. Church—The church, located 140 Engelhard Road, Attapulgus, will convene a Women’s Ministry Conference July 22-24. Event speakers for Saturday, July 23, at 6 p.m. is Minister Dee Jackson of Quincy, and Sunday, July 24, at 11 a.m. is Minister Janice Harris of Quincy.
• Union Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located 703 Martin St. in West Bainbridge, will have Vacation Bible School beginning Monday, July 25, and concluding Friday, July 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.
• St. Thomas M.B. Church—The church, located 198 Edwards Road in Fowlstown, will have Vacation Bible Study beginning Monday, July 25, and concluding Friday, July 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.. Theme is “Inside Out and Upside Down on Main Street (where Jesus makes a difference every day).”
• LifeStream Church—The church, located 1301 S. West St., will have a Kids’ Vacation Bible School outreach for kindergarten through sixth-grade children featuring singing, puppets, games and Bible stories. Beginning Wednesday, July 27, through Friday, July 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. daily, the event will culminate with a family cookout following the Friday night service on Friday.
• Poplar Springs M.B. Church—The church, located 409 Mobley Road in Whigham, will have a revival beginning Wednesday, July 27, through Friday, July 29, at 7:30 p.m. Guest evangelist will be Dr. Emory Virgil of Providence M.B. Church.
• New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ—The church, located 652 Wautauga Road, Attapulgus, will hold a revival Thursday, July 28, and Friday, July 29, at 7 p.m. daily. Elder Robert Dixon from Tallahassee Church of the Living Word will be the event speaker.
• Immanuel Baptist Church—The church, located on Highway 84 West of Bainbridge, is holding a Gospel sing Saturday, July 30, at 7 p.m. featuring Resting Place from Cottonwood, Ala.
• Celebration Baptist—The church, located at 3039 Faceville Hwy., will hold a Fifth Sunday Sing July 31. Morning worship begins at 11 a.m., lunch at 12:15 p.m., and singing at 1:15 p.m. The Master’s Men Quartet from Pensacola, Fla., will be the guests. H. Haskell White is the pastor.
• Mount Olive A.M.E. Church—The church, located Highway 309, Attapulgus, will have a family and friend celebration on Sunday, July 31, at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. John Gardner, pastor of Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church of Quincy. Refreshments will be served.
• Disciples of Jesus “Life Changing Ministries”—The church, located 1630 Bethel Road, will observe ushers anniversary with guest speakers. Thursday, Aug. 4, Pastor Eric Collins of Macedonia Baptist Church, Friday, Aug. 5, Pastor William Cason of New Harvest Church, Pelham, and Saturday, Aug. 6, Evangelist Mildred Bundage, St. James Baptist Church, Pensacola. Service times are Thursday and Friday, 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, 11:30 a.m.
• Women Breaking the Silence Conference 2011—Led by Apostle Jacquelyn Porter, the conference will take place nightly at 4801 Woodland Circle in Tallahassee, Fla., Thursday, Aug. 4, to Monday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. nightly on the theme, “I’ve been provoked to produce.”
• New Hope M.B. Church—The church, located at 129 Jowers Road, Whigham, will observe the first sermon of Alvin C. Byrden Jr. on Sunday, Aug. 7, at 3 p.m. on the theme “Coming to God.”
