Rodney and Deborah Turner of Cairo, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Combs, to Mr. Phillip Lambert of Bainbridge.

Miss Combs is the daughter of the late Bruce Combs and the granddaughter of Myrle and Martha Rodgers of Cairo and the late James and Mary Combs. She graduated from Cairo High School in 2011.

The groom-to-be is the son of Judy Lambert and Ben Lambert, both of Bainbridge, and the grandson of Pat Griffin Henry of Lake Seminole and the late Donald Griffin and the late Mary and Leslie Lambert.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2007.

A private wedding ceremony is planned for July 30.
