Robin Lanier Roberson, 54 of Waverly Hall, Ga., formerly of Bainbridge, died Friday, July 15, 2011, at Columbus Regional Medical Center, Columbus, Ga.

Mr. Roberson was born Sept. 28, 1956, in Tifton, the son of Muriel Layton Roberson and L.B. Roberson. He was a self-employed furniture refinisher and a member of the Salem Baptist Church in Bainbridge.

He is survived by his three cousins, Bonnie Collier and her husband, Jerry, of Manchester, June Dickerson of Vidalia, and Ben Layton and his wife, Linda of Tallahassee, Fla.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later time.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Oakview Nursing Home in Waverly Hall or the American Cancer Society in memory of Robin Roberson.

Cox Funeral Home in Manchester, Ga., will be in charge of the arrangements.
