Bainbridge City Council Members Roslyn Palmer and Glennie Bench were both elected to the board of directors for the Georgia Municipal Association during the association’s annual meeting held in Savannah June 27.

Palmer will serve as president of GMA’s 10th District, which includes cities in the following counties: Baker, Calhoun, Colquitt, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Lee, Miller, Seminole and Worth.

Bench will serve an at-large position on the board.

Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit and technical assistance services to its 510 member cities.
