The memorial service for Mary Ann Clements, 70, of Bainbridge, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Glover officiating.

Interment will be at Blakely Cemetery in Blakely. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mary Ann was born Nov. 1, 1940, in Anniston, Ala., the daughter of John William Wheeler and Cassie Adel Stricklin. She died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville.

She was a waitress for many years, most recently at the Bainbridge Huddle House and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Carla Mae Long and her husband, Greg, of Bainbridge, Juanita Peschel of Mobile, Ala., and Brenda Peschel of Fairmont, Neb.; her brother, John W. Wheeler Jr. and his wife, Linda, of O’Brien, Fla.; her sister, Barbara Martin of Atlanta; and Cassie Annmarie Long, her granddaughter whom she called “Princess.”
