Farm Credit offering fall internship

College students who want to work in financial services but prefer the small town life can get a taste of both with a paid internship at Southwest Georgia Farm Credit.
The agricultural lending institution is now accepting applications for the fall semester.
The deadline is June 30.
The internship is ideal for students interested in financial services, credit analysis, risk management, venture capital, agricultural futures, marketing, appraisals, accounting and related topics.
Southwest Georgia Farm Credit, headquartered in Bainbridge, Ga., is an agricultural lender with $361 million in loans outstanding.
The intern will meet with the CEO to learn about the company, its mission, customer base and strategy. They will sit in on leadership meetings and be assigned a mentor. They will also receive training through AgFirst Farm Credit Bank and be given challenging work assignments.
To be eligible, you must be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. You must be available to work at least 20 hours per week. And you must have reliable transportation.
