Tim Haire of Dothan, Ala., and Pam Helms of Donalsonville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Haire, to Matthew Stone of Albany.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pat and Joe Helms of Donalsonville and of Ethel and Watson Haire of Miller County. She is a 2010 graduate of Lee County High School and is attending Albany Technical College, studying cosmetology. She is employed at Video’s Unlimited.

The future groom is the son of Blair and Melissa Stone of Albany, and the grandson of Diane and Anthony Lasalle and Charlotte and Jack Stone, all of Albany. He graduated from Albany High School in 2007 and is attending Andersonville Theological Seminary majoring in biblical studies. He is employed at Creekside Auto Sales.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. at Light House Ministries in Albany, where the reception will follow.
