Bainbridge’s July 4th celebration will feature a popular hard-rock cover band as well as a spectacular fireworks display.

The City of Bainbridge has announced that Fly By Radio, a four-member band from Birmingham, Ala., will headline the Independence Day celebration in the Earle May Boat Basin. The band tours regularly throughout Georgia, North Florida, Alabama and other Southeastern states.

They play a variety of classic rock songs, with a particular bent toward ’80s hard rock, including acts such as Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses and Van Halen.

The band is slated to begin their free show at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 4. A fireworks show will follow at nightfall.
