Softball camps planned

Bainbridge High School softball coaches and players will teach correct throwing, catching, hitting and base running fundamental skills to 9-to 12-year-old girls during two camp sessions this coming Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, June 3.

Both sessions will be at the Bainbridge High School softball complex. A morning session is planned from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and an evening session is planned from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Campers can choose to attend either the morning or evening sessions.

The cost is $35 for four two-hour sessions and checks should be made payable to the BHS Softball Boosters Club. Parents should indicate which session their daughter plans to attend on the checks.

Further information about the camps can be obtained by calling Coach Eugene Singletary at 334-797-0382 or by e-mailing him at esingletary@dcboe.com.

There must be at least 15 players to sign up for each session or that particular session will be cancelled. If either session has less than 15 to sign up, only one session will be offered that day.

It would be in the morning or evening, depending on which session has the most interest. Each session is limited to 25 players maximum.
