Funeral services for Shirley Love, 73, of New Carrollton, Md., will be held Saturday, May 28, at 11 a.m. at Nelson Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Revs. James A. Platt and Belinda A. Love officiating.

Interment will be at Pineview Cemetery with Wayne Belin, Ronald Hampton, Abraham Lippett, James Love III, Chester Neal, Michael Stanton, Hubert Thomas and Wallace Williams acting as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Hutto High School Class of 1955.

Mrs. Love was born June 19, 1937, in Bainbridge, and died May 19, 2011, in Washington, D.C. She was a member of Nelson Chapel AME Church and Oak City Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She was the owner of L&N Transportation Service Inc.

Survivors include a son, Michael Anthony Love; a brother, William Howard Love; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
