The memorial service for Ray Jerome Haire, 69, of Bainbridge, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Haire was born March 14, 1942, in Colquitt, Ga., the son of Robert Haire and Kathleen Carter Hatcher. Mr. Haire died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired security guard, the former owner of the Dairyco Drive Inn and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ted Brooks.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Duncan Haire of Bainbridge; his son, Frank Brooks Jr. of Redlands, Calif.; his daughters, Donna Brooks Trammell of Bainbridge and Kathy Haire Edwards of Tallahassee, Fla.; his brother, Don Moore of Albany; his sister, Ernestine Badman of Manchester, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
