Coach Rickey McCullough and his Bainbridge High School Bearcats basketball team will host their first team camp of the summer this  Wednesday, June 1 at the school gymnasium.

“We will be hosting some of the most talented teams in South Georgia,” Coach McCullough said.

The doors to the BHS gym will open at 2:30 p.m. and donations of $1 will be accepted at the door. Refreshments will also be sold.

“I urge everyone to come out and support their team and enjoy some of the best basketball around,”McCullough said.

Competition will open with a 3 p.m. game between the Bearcats and the Thomasville High School Bulldogs.

The Early County High School Bobcats will play the Cairo High School Syrupmakers at 4 p.m.

Thomasville will take on the Cottondale, Fla.,  High School Hornets at 5 p.m. and the Bainbridge Bearcats and Cairo Syrupmakers will get together at 6 p.m.

The final two games of the day will pit the Cottondale Hornets against the Early County Bobcats at 7 p.m. and the Bainbridge Bearcats against the Thomasville Bulldogs at 8 p.m.
