Pastor Bruce and Anna Hoose of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Ann Hoose, to Joshua Caleb Purcell of Bainbridge

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eugene Flanders of Albany, N.Y., and the late Helen Flanders, Betty Hilton and John Ashbey. She is a 1996 graduate of Heritage Christian Academy and is employed at The Bean Cafe.

The groom to be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Purcell Jr. of Bainbridge, and the late Dixie Davis Purcell. His grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Purcell of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. May Davis of Folkstown and the late Mr. Bennie Davis. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1995 and from Bainbridge College in 1998 with an education in mechanical drafting. He is a soccer coach and referee for the YMCA soccer program and is employed at John B. Sanfilippo and Son.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 12 at New Fountainhead Baptist Church with the reception to follow at Trinity Baptist Church.
