Jones-Wheat Elementary School has selected Kathy Martin as their outstanding educator for the 2010-2011 school year. Mrs. Martin, a 37-year veteran teacher, was recognized at the Decatur County Association of Educators annual retirement banquet as the recipient of this award. Mrs. Martin and her husband, Bruce, have two children and three grandchildren.
