The Rev. and Mrs. Paul E. Medley of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann, to Richard Edward Hayes Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Hayes Sr. of Melbourne, Fla.

Miss Medley is a graduate of Marion County High School and Hiwassee College. She is an investment banker with Chase Bank of Melbourne.

Mr. Hayes is a graduate of Melbourne Central Catholic High School and Florida Atlantic University and is employed as a high school chemistry teacher with the Harmony High School in Harmony, Fla.

The couple will exchange vows at the First Baptist Church of Melbourne on June 18 at 2 p.m.
