Funeral services for Mary Louise Thomas, 85, of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held Thursday, May 19, at 4 p.m., in the chapel of Cox-Ware Funeral Home with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

Born Feb. 6, 1926, in Columbia, Ala., Mrs. Thomas died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, Ga.

Mrs. Thomas had recently moved to Donalsonville from Dothan, Ala. She was a mother and homemaker. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Dothan, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Harvey Thomas.

Survivors include her children: Frank Thomas of Donalsonville, Ga., and Mary Thomas of Marion, N.C.; her brothers, Frasier Thorne of San Antonio, Texas, and Billy Thorne of Dothan, Ala.; sisters, Othell Stewart of Ashford, Ala., Catherine Chandler, Joanne Merritt and Linda Taylor, all of Dothan, Ala.; as well as a grandson and a host of other family and friends.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
