Sharber elected to district governor

Gail Sharber, of the Pilot Club of Bainbridge, was recently elected governor-elect for the Georgia District 2011-2012. The Georgia District Convention was held at the Marriott Atlanta Gwinnett Place in Duluth, Ga. The theme for the installation banquet was “Seasons of Service—Be Inspired” during which the district officers accepted their duties. Pilot Club of Bainbridge members attending the convention were Mary Gibson, Carolyn Thompson, Catherine Catledge, Emma Wacaser, Marie Hendrie, Emily Yent, Virginia Smith, Karon Elwell, Millie Cross and Gail Sharber. Pilot International is a global organization of approximately 25,000 adult and youth members. Pilot’s service focus is helping people affected by brain-related disorders and disabilities through volunteer activities, projects and fund-raisers.
