Chelsea Kornse, a 2011 graduate of Bainbridge High School FFA, and daughter of Al and Gena Brock of Climax, Ga., has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by River Bend Ford and Ford Motor Company.

The Built Ford Tough-FFA Scholarship Program is designed to recognize FFA members’ talents and accomplishments while encouraging their future academic achievements.

This scholarship is one of 526 scholarships awarded by Ford Division, Ford Motor Company Fund and Ford Dealers to FFA members who are high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall of 2011, or are current college students. Additionally, five national $1,000 BFT-FFA scholarships are being awarded on behalf of Ford trucks as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
