Funeral services for Emma Lee Harville, 93, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, April 30, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John H. Wooden officiating.

Interment was at Pineview Cemetery in Bainbridge with Deontae Carter, George Christian, Thurmal Christian, Reginal Harris, Steven Headen and Murray Morrow Jr. acting as pallbearers.

Mrs. Harville was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Greene County, Ala., and died April 23, 2011, at Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge. She moved to Birmingham, Ala., in her early adult life, remaining there until she moved to Bainbridge in 1988. She was a participant in the foster grandparent program at Bainbridge State Hospital and later transferred to Decatur County Seminole Service Center as a senior companion. She was an active member of the Mizpah Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Birmingham and maintained her membership there long after she relocated to Bainbridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Zula Owens Morrow; four brothers, Murray, Andrew Lee, Eddie Lee and Bennie; four sisters, Clara, Mary Mattie Pearl and Catherine; and her husband, Larker Harville.

Survivors include a special nephew, Deontae Carter; a brother, Samuel Morrow of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sisters, Lucille Smith of Birmingham and Edna Bonner of Bainbridge; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
