Funeral arrangements for Lizzie Lou Porter, 52, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held April 19 at Union M.B. Baptist Church in Bainbridge with the Revs. David Johnson and Dennis Brinson officiating.

Interment was in Macedonia Cemetery with nephews, friends and family acting as pallbearers.

Miss Porter was born July 25, 1958, in Miller County, Ga., to the late Walter and Essie Lee Porter. She died April 13, 2011, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga. She attended West Bainbridge Elementary School and Hutto High School.

She was preceded in death by one brother and a sister, in addition to her parents.

She is survived by a son, Keshawn Porter; daughters, Alexis and Yolonda Crispen, all of Bainbridge, and Shaniqua Porter of Atlanta; five sisters, Pansy Lowe, Estella Parks, Dorothy McCray and Martha Porter, all of Bainbridge and Mary Alice Parks of Reynoldsville; one brother, Eugene Porter; six grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
