Most of us take for granted that when we get in our cars or trucks, we will reach our intended destination safely without incident. Sometimes we may have close calls, when we have to brake quickly or swerve a little, but no one expects beforehand that they might be at risk of being involved in a bad crash.

That’s because in part, no matter how good a driver you are, there is a certain amount of randomness involved when it comes to the traffic of thousands of cars making their daily trips.

These past few weeks have seen several incidences in which people have been seriously injured, even killed, as the result of vehicle crashes. The ones who passed on are missed and their family and friends forever impacted by the losses of their loved ones.
