• St. Joseph Catholic Church—The church, located 1207 Randolph St. in Bainbridge, will hold Easter Vigil services on Holy Saturday, April 23, at 8 p.m. Easter Sunday services will be at 11 a.m., with a 1:30 p.m. service in Spanish.

• Morningside Baptist Church—The church, located 1303 Vada Road, will hold an Easter morning service celebration at 10 a.m. on April 24.

• Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The church, located at 849 Martin Luther King Blvd., will be the site of an annual revival that concludes Sunday, April 24, at 11 a.m. Pastor John Neal of Greater St. Andrews M.B. Church in Climax will be the speaker.

• New Voices of Faith—On Saturday, April 23, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 24, at 3 p.m. at the old Miller County High School, 96 Perry St., Colquitt. There will be choirs, groups and quartets from Georgia, Florida and Alabama celebrating the seventh year anniversary of New Voices of Faith. • Fellowship Baptist Church—The church, located 2861 Spring Creek Road, Brinson, will present an Easter cantata and Passion Play, “Amazing Grace, My chains are Gone,” on Saturday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m.

• Climax Churches—The churches of Climax are sponsoring an interdenominational Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 24, at the Old Depot on the Swine Time Grounds. A light breakfast will be served at the Chitlin’ Barn immediately following the service, compliments of the Climax Community Club.

• Mount Olive Baptist Church—The church, located on Mount Olive Road off Spring Creek Road, across from Hales Landing Road, will have Easter Sunrise Services at 7 a.m. Morning services start at 10 a.m.

• Southwest Baptist Church—The church, located 1107 Faceville Hwy., will have special Easter Sunday services on April 24. A sunrise service will be at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast. Sunday School is at 9:30. “I Know My Redeemer Lives,” an Easter Cantata, presented by the church choir, and the Lord’s Supper will be at 10:30 a.m.

• Bethany Baptist Church—The church located on Bethany Church Road off Spring Creek Road, will hold Easter Sunrise Services at 6:30 a.m. on April 24, followed by breakfast. An Easter Passion Play will be presented at 11 a.m.

• Pine Forest M.B. Church—The church will hold Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. and regular morning worship at 11 a.m. on April 24. There will be no evening service.

• Morris Temple Community First Born Church of the Living God—The church, located 300 Poplar Ave. in Bainbridge, will hold Easter Sunrise services at 7:30 a.m. April 24. with Minister Alver Mae Clary speaking. Breakfast will be served following the service.

• Pine Hill M.B. Church—The church, located 1048 Pine Hill Church Road, will hold an Easter Prayer Breakfast on Easter Sunday, April 24, at 8:30 a.m.

• Faith Life Ministries—The church, located 335 Colquitt Hwy. in Eldorendo, will have an Easter Passover program on Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

• Mount Moriah No. 2 M.B. Church—The church, located in Attapulgus, will hold a Revival starting Monday, April 25, through 29 at 7:30 p.m. daily. Evangelist for the week will be the Rev. Henry Stephenson of Albany.

• Disciples of Jesus No. 2 Ministries—The church, located 1630 Bethel Road, will have featured speakers as follows: April 25, Pastor Frank Brison of Tallahassee at 7 p.m.; April 26, Pastor Frank Hogan at 7 p.m.; April 27, Pastor C. Spencer of Thomasville at 6:30 p.m.; April 28, Dr. Blake of Thomasville at 7 p.m.; April 29, Pastor Calvin Williams of Quitman at 7 p.m.; May 1, Elder Robert Lawson of Albany at 11:15 a.m.

• First Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located off Ten Mile Still Road, will celebrate its annual church and Pastor Nathan Reed’s anniversary beginning Wednesday, April 27, through Friday and Sunday, May 1. Wednesday through Friday services will begin at 7 p.m. and Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. Guest churches participating will be the Rev. David Worthy of Mount Nebo Church on Wednesday; the Rev. Frank DeYounks of Salem M.B. Church on Thursday; the Rev. Lougene Bush of Antioch Church, Donalsonville on Friday; and Sunday will be the Rev. Cody with New Salem Freewill Baptist Church.

• First African Baptist Church—The church, 515 Webster St. in Bainbridge, will hold the annual revival meeting starting Wednesday night April 27 through Friday night at 7:30 nightly. The Rev. Eric Collins, the pastor of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, will be speaker for the week.

• Nelson Chapel AME Church—The church, located 640 Hall St., will have a youth game night on April 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Youth and adults are invited for an evening of fun and fellowship to play video games and board games. Snacks and drinks will be available.

• Immanuel Baptist Church—The church will have a Gospel Sing on Saturday night, April 30, at 7 p.m. featuring the Singing Regals from Quincy, Fla.

• Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The church at 849 Martin Luther King St., will be the location of the Nobettes of Bainbridge 15th year anniversary celebration on Saturday, April 30, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 1, at 3 p.m. The program will be in honor of the late the Rev. • Calvary Assembly of God—The church, located at 3606 Spring Creek Road, will have its 84th Homecoming Sunday on May 1. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. Morning speaker is the Rev. Wayne Fussell from Grand Ridge, Fla. Special music will be provided by The End Time Gospel Singers and others. Dinner will be served about 12:30. Bring a covered dish.

• Friendship House of Jesus—The Friendship House, located at 220 N. Russ St., will celebrate their 20-year anniversary on Thursday, May 5, from 5 to 6 p.m.

• Kingdom Harvest Fellowship Church—The church, located 652 Wautauga Road in Attapulgus, is calling all women to a special program, “Getting at his Feet,” a “white night affair,” with guest speaker Apostle Sonja Perry-Evans of Birmingham, Ala. on Friday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m.

• Faith Life Ministries—The church, located 335 Colquitt Hwy. in Eldorendo, will have a Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 8, at 11:45 a.m. with Pastor Earl Hallmon and the Mount Zion young adult choir of Damascus leading the service. Dinner will be served.
