A graveside service for Shawn D. McGee Jr., infant son of Shawn D. McGee Sr. and Taineisha G. McGee, was held Tuesday, April 5, at Sherman Williams Cemetery in Attapulgus.

Pastor Harry Chaney officiated.

The child was born and died April 3, 2011, in Tallahassee.

The child is survived by his parents; a brother, Anjuwan Thomas of Tallahassee; a sister, Vashti Smith of Bridgeton, N.J.; grandmothers, Mrs. Dorothy McGee of Bridgeton and Ada L. Grice of Attapulgus; great-grandfathers, Phillip McGee of Bridgeton and Isaac Grice Sr. of Attapulgus; great-grandmothers, Classie McGee of Bridgeton; and a host of other relatives.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
