The Household Water Well Loan Program provides low-interest loans to low-income homeowners needing to repair or replace an existing well system.

The Golden Triangle Resource Conservation and Development Council will be accepting loan applications along with required documentation, such as copy of deed, financial information, and bids for well work, from April 1 to May 31.

The program cannot be used as a substitute for an existing community water system and cannot pay for plumbing or septic tank repair.

Participation in the program has increased since it began in 2009, and limited funding is available.
