A celebration of life for Betty White Williams, 73, will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Cairo, Ga.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo.

Mrs. Williams was born April 5, 1937, in Bainbridge, and died March 20, 2011, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. She was a resident of St. Lucie County before moving to Cairo. She graduated from Hutto High School in Bainbridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Smicky Williams Sr. and her parents.

She is survived by one son, Isaac Smicky Williams Jr. of Plano, Texas, and one daughter, Chiquita Williams Roberts of Cairo.

Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Beulah Baptist Church in Cairo.

Sarah’s Memorial Chapel LLC in Fort Pierce, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements.
