Melvin J. Everson, who is the executive director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Development, is to be at Bainbridge College on Thursday, March 17, to present Decatur County’s and Early County’s Certified Work Ready Community Proclamations on behalf of Gov. Nathan Deal and former Gov. Sonny Perdue. The Early County presentation is set for 11 a.m. in the Atrium Lobby at Bainbridge College Early County (40 Harold Ragan Dr., Blakely). The Decatur County presentation will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Solarium of the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center on the Bainbridge campus. Everson’s Bainbridge visit is to include a tour of the campus.
