High school seniors and their parents have an opportunity on Saturday, March 19, to get familiar with educational options, admissions procedures, and financial aid options when Bainbridge College hosts Visitation Day.
They will also have time to get acquainted with faculty and staff and enjoy a picnic lunch to close the day’s activities.
Sponsored by the Office of Academic and Student Affairs and its Admissions, Financial Aid, and Students Activities offices, Visitation Day will kick off at 10 a.m. at the new Student Wellness Center, where the day will conclude with a picnic lunch at 12:20 to 1 p.m.
After opening remarks by Bainbridge College President Richard Carvajal, Dean of Students Connie Snyder, and Student Wellness Center Director Justin Gravlee, high school seniors and their parents will go to special interest seminars beginning at 10:25 a.m.
Special interest seminars will include sessions on admissions and on financial aid, which will take place in the Arts and Sciences Building, where the library is located. There will be special interest seminars on the various programs of studies a student may choose in the college’s three divisions, Arts and Sciences, Health Sciences and Technical Studies.
The two-story Student Wellness Center, which showcases the main campus’ central complex of buildings, will be the site for the picnic lunch and drawing for prizes to close the day’s activities. This will give students and parents an additional opportunity to get acquainted with Bainbridge College faculty and staff. The Barnes and Noble Bookstore in the Student Wellness Center will be open.
