• Disciples of Jesus Ministry—The church, located 1630 Bethel Road, will sponsoring a building fund singing program Saturday, March 5, beginning at 7 p.m. Church choirs or gospel groups are invited to participate. Groups and individuals who have already signed up include Sunset Spiritual, Golden Echols, Amazing Harmony 4, The Chosen Disciples of Tallahassee, Home Gospel Disciples of Dothan, Johnny Mike GJMT, Michael Bell, Michael Lee, New Harvest Ministry Church Choir, Mark Douglas Gospel of Grand Ridge and Walker Street Church in Christ choir.

• Mount Olive Baptist Church—The church, located 300 Mount Olive Church Road, will hold a revival beginning Sunday, March 6, at 11 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. through Wednesday, March 9. All other evening services will begin at 7 p.m. Evangelist Kenneth Cloud will be the speaker.

• Swanswall M.B. Church—The church, located in Brinson, will celebrate Family Friendship day Sunday, March 6, at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Edmond Howard and the Gospelets will be featured guests.

• Attapulgus Church of God—The church will host a Gospel Sing Saturday evening, March 5, at 6 p.m. with River City Trio.

• St. Mary A.M.E. Church—The church, located off Lake Douglas Road at 205 McNair Moore Road, will observe annual mission day Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m. with the theme “Women in their Whites” Speaker will be Sister Cynthia B. Mitchell.

• St. Thomas M.B. Church—The church, located 198 Edward Road in Fowlstown, will have installation services for the Rev. Willie G. Smiley on Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Aninas Hopkins III of St. Mary M.B. Church in Baconton, with the Rev. Eric Collins of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church presiding.

• John the Baptist M.B. Church—The church, located 1706 Faceville Hwy., will have the annual Mission March on Sunday, March 6, at 6 p.m. with the theme “Missionaries on the Move.” Speaker will be James Turner.

• Unity Church of God—The church at 5092 Unity Church Road in Iron City will host the girls of Lighthouse Children’s Home from Tallahassee, Fla. Everyone is invited to come hear their singing and personal testimonies.

• Lords Lighthouse Church—The church, located on U.S. 84 in Climax, will hold a revival beginning Sunday, March 6, and running through the Wednesday, March 9, with 7 p.m. services. Timothy and Dorothy Johnson and family will be the event speakers.

• Nelson Chapel AME Church—The church, located 640 Hall St., will begin mid-week prayer services on Wednesday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and continuing weekly on Wednesdays.

• Liberty in Jesus Christian Center—The church, located 1108 Butler Ferry Road, will host a Holy Convocation 2011 from Wednesday, March 9, Sunday, March 13, at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at 11 a.m. services will be at the Adolph Noble Multipurpose Building on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. There will be special speakers featured each day.

• John the Baptist M.B. Church—The church, located 1706 Faceville Hwy. will hold a revival beginning at 7 p.m. nightly Thursday, March 10, through 11 a.m. services on Sunday, March 14. Minister Steven Barns of Tampa, Fla., will be the event speaker.

• Rocky Ridge Baptist Church—The church, located at 1288 Hwy 39 North, Donalsonville, will host a Spring Revival March 10-13. Services begin at 7 p.m. nightly and at 11 a.m. on the 13th. Guest Evangelist is David Miller from Heber Springs, Ark. Miller suffers from a degenerative muscular disease and is wheelchair bound, but preaches with an intense fire for God. Nursery will be provided.

• Notchaway Baptist Church—The church, located on Highway 91 North at State Road 253, will have its annual homecoming Sunday, March 13. Worship will be at 11 a.m. followed by dinner. Guest speaker will be Rev. Johnny Roberts. Singing after lunch will feature Tommy and Karen Thompson.

• Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located 632 White Bridge and Twilight Road in Miller County, will have an installation service for Minister Thomas P. Bell on Sunday, March 13, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Cleveland Sanders will bring the message.

• Magnolia M.B. Church—The church, located 1210 Center St., near the Decatur County Fairgrounds, will hold a Youth Revival from March 14-19 at 7 nightly. Event speakers will be Pastor Michael Lovejoy of St. Peters M.B. Church in Pelham.

• Disciples of Jesus Ministry—The annual Women of Faith Conference sponsored by the church will take place at 7 p.m. nightly from March 16-18, at 1630 Bethel Road, with the theme “Stay Caught-up.” Guest speakers will be present each night.

• Second New Salem M.B. Church—The church, located in the Vada community, will observe the anniversary of Pastor Eldrick Tyrone Jacobs on Thursday, March 17, at 7 p.m. The Rev. Harry Mitchell Sr. and Mount Zuma congregations will be participating.

• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located 1810 S. West St., will observe the 144-year church anniversary March 23-27, with 7:30 p.m. services each night and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. Theme is, “On this Rock I Will Build My Church.”

• New Harvest Outreach Ministries—The church, located at 400 Miller Ave. will have a “Fruit of the Spirit” program on Sunday, March 27, at 4 p.m.

• Mount Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located 2015 Vada Hwy., will hold the annual church revival April 11 – April 15 nightly at 7:30, with the Rev. Eddie Jackson of Cairo leading the services.
