The Mount Pleasant Community Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual barbecue and fund-raiser on Saturday, March 5, serving barbecue pork plates at the department, located North of Bainbridge, just off Vada highway on Deese Road from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $6 per plate. There will be ticket sales for drawings for a 12-gauge Stoeger shotgun, an Element 32-inch LCD HDTV/DVD player combo and a $200 VISA gift card. There will be door prizes.
