Thousands of thanks …

… for the thousands of books. That’s what the folks in this town donated to the third annual Book Fair for the benefit of our Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society.
Yeah, I’m talking thousands of books!
And every penny from each donated book went toward Helping the Helpless. The unwanted, the stray, the homeless animals—the ones our Humane Society tries to find loving homes for. Thanks to our Bainbridge Humane Society for doing what they do every day—rain or shine, 24/7, 365 days each year.
Thanks to Elcan-King Elementary School and the Senior Center for donating and collecting books.
Extra special thanks to Betty Conelly and Sue Miles, who donated extra large numbers of books because they have extra large hearts.
And extra special thanks to St. John’s Episcopal Church. They donated an extra large amount of books, donated their parish hall and donated money and helpers. They might be tiny but there is something extra special behind that little white church with the red doors!
