The graveside funeral service for W. Maynard Brock, 54, of Thomasville, Ga., will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27, at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Ivey Funeral Home.

Born on March 26, 1956, in Bainbridge, Ga., Mr. Brock died on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Brock was the son of Eldridge Clifton Brock and Emma Jean Harrell Brock.

He was a former sales clerk with Thomasville Plumbing Supply Company.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Lawson Brock and Clifton Allen Brock.

Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Bailey of Tallahassee, Fla., and Leola Stokley of Monticello, Fla.; his nieces and nephews, Chasity Phillips and her husband, Brent, Christopher Bailey and his wife, Jody, Justin Stokley and Josie Stokley; and two great-nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
