A memorial service for Mary Patricia (Pat) Herrell, 74, formerly of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Cecil B. Day Chapel of Perimeter Church, Duluth, Ga.

Ms. Herrell, a homemaker, was born in Miami, Fla., to George and Mary Peace. She died Feb. 13, 2011, in Duluth, Ga. She loved traveling, playing bridge and was enthusiastic of life. She was a wonderful mother, devoted grandmother, loving sister and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and John Cerny, of Duluth; a son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Debbie Herrell, of Conway, Ark.; grandchildren, Mary, Heather and Alex Cerny, Ashley Stanton and Jessica Herrell; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ted Snell of Bainbridge; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Pat Herrell to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
