Mildred Weeks

Funeral services for Mildred “Mitt” Weeks, 81, of Havana, Fla., will be held Friday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. at Oak City Assembly of God in Tallahassee, Fla., with Pastor Matt Creel officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy with her grandsons, Thomas Wilson, Allen Pullam, Jimmy White, Brian Pullam, Bruce Pullam and Sean Hicks, serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Weeks was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Colquitt, Ga. She died Feb. 20, 2011, at her home. She worked for 25 years in the meat market for IGA and had a child care service in her home for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edgar Weeks, and her grandson Jeff Godwin.
Survivors include five daughters, Pat Wilson of Tallahassee, Linda White of Panama City, Fla., Syble Pullam of Havana, Joyce Godwin of Attapulgus, Ga., and Janice Perrine of Perry, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, which is in charge of the arrangements.
