Melba Sheffield

Graveside services for Melba Mims Sheffield, 86, of Statesboro, Ga., formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville.

Ms. Sheffield was born March 8, 1924, and died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at the Heritage Inn Rehab Center in Statesboro.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
