Graveside services for Ray Cook, 72, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be Thursday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Al Murkerson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel in Bainbridge.
Mr. Cook was born June 3, 1938, in Miller County, Ga., and died Feb. 14, 2011, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.
He worked as a machinist at C&C Machine Shop. He loved to fish and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Patricia McLendon of Vada, Ga., and Bobby Cook of Tallahassee, Fla.; sisters, Marcia Gayle Cook and Sybil Cook, both of Perry, Ga.; brothers, Ross Cook of Albany, Ga., Jimmy Cook of Cairo, Ga., and Charles Cook and Ronnie Cook, both of Bainbridge; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
