John F. Cody

Graveside services for John F. Cody, 85, of Quincy, Fla., were held Monday, Jan. 31, at the Providence Cemetery in Greensboro, Fla.
Mr. Cody was born May 24, 1925, in Tampa, Fla., and died Jan. 28, 2011, at his residence.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a co-pilot on the B-25 Liberator. He was a retired crop duster, pilot instructor, engineer and inventor.
He is survived by a son, Mark Cody of Havana, Fla.; two daughters, Debi Cody of Tallahassee, Fla., and Leslie Cody Johnson of Bainbridge, Ga., and three grandchildren.
Charles McClellan Funeral Home of Quincy was in charge of the arrangements.
